Looog Day Today

Wow, today was a long day. I went to bed late last night because I was browsing Tudors Wiki. That show is so inaccurate in so many ways, haha. But Henry Cavill is HOT!

I picked mom up from work. We had dinner at El Porton. Our waiter was out of it. Then we went to get our allergy shots. OMG, this was hell. The place was a zoo. A woman talked on her phone non-stop. And another woman who could be a walking ad for Big and Tall kept complaining that the kids at school were getting her sick. Shut up and give me a break. I thought the place was going to break out in celebration when she left.

After our shots, we went to the mall to find an Easter outfit. I have some things that I could wear from home but I'm not 100% on them. I feel like I walked everywhere and got nothing accomplised. Macy's didn't have the dress I wanted in my size and NY and Company didn't have my dress at all. Now I'm going to have to stop by Perimeter Mall tomorrow (sigh). I feel like I'm in high school shopping for a costume for a Poulos play again. And I know all the black women will show me up in the dress department.

I'm tired now. I need to wash my hair and go to bed. Will finish watching Castle first.

Money and Surprises

I had a successful day today. I'm so proud of myself, haha. Usually I just sleep on the weekends. I ate at Cracker Barrel with Roz, then went bowling with Carolyn later. We didn't do so well, haha. I broke 100 the first game, but only got 96 the second game. Sad :( On the upside, Carolyn and I switched off frames for the last game and we got a 117 together.

Then we went to Dick's because I wanted different wrist weights. I also bought a pair of exercise shorts. I didn't notice the price until the dude said my total though. Man, $28 is expensive. I'm going to return them and get two pairs for that price at Target, haha.

The pollen was nasty. I saw a gust of wind lift yellow in the air. Nasty. I hate spring.

I also filed my tax returns tonight. About 3 weeks later than last year. Oh well, I'll still get money back.

Finally, all my emails to extras casting directors paid off! I'm going to be an extra in Tyler Perry's new film! Yes, there are white people in it. I'm filming my scene this Thursday (well Wedsnesday night) downtown. It's an Easter church scene. I'm totally getting a hat. So, I'm very excited about this happening. I also applied to be an extra in Five Killers which stars Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl. I would love the be a part of that film too!

Also, the website that I edited material for is up online now. The website is for the GPB documentary The Road Beyond Abuse, narrated by Jane Fonda. It will air April 15th at 9 pm. It's a heartbreaking but incredibly uplifting story. Watch it. Go to www.gpb.org/road-beyond-abuse.

Okay, so it looks like I got a busy week ahead. I hope the pollen doesn't mess me up too much!!!

My First Post

Ugh, a little annoyed right now because this is the second time I'm having to do this!
Whatever, I decided to start a blog because it was this or Twitter! I might change the title. I like Tabula Rasa because each post begins as a blank slate. We'll see what happens!
